Youth Media

According to the Mongolian Adolescents Needs Assessment Survey Report, Mongolian youth lack access to the information which is an essential element of personal and intellectual development. We live in an information age, yet currently available resources are inadequate, often lacking Mongolian language content, and do not reflect the needs and expectations of adolescents.

Up-to-date information regarding life-skills, health, moral education, and cultural and popular events is vital if young people are to be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to become full members of society. MYDF's media programme is designed to meet the demands of youth and youth workers by presenting information through media channels such as the web, radio, television, and advertising, while also giving them a forum to express themselves. Within the framework of the programme, lectures and discussions encourage the exchange of opinion and ideas and a library and resource centre is available for independent research and study.
